Guitars and other instruments

Here's some of the gear I've used over the years in both performance and in the studio.

Guitars and Basses

These aren't all of them, but they will be most of them. As I find or take more pictures, I'll post them.

1990 Fender American Standard Stratocaster "Chaelin"
Fully stock. My main electric with Insomnia Station. Heard on the Toy Piano track "Chaelin's Penthouse". Got this as a surprise Christmas gift from my mother because I mentioned seeing it on the wall arack at Portanova's Music (RIP) and mentioned it reminded me of the guitar on the cover of Resonant Blue, so (unaware to me) she called Jesse, bought it, had it set aside and secretly delivered to her house. Named after CL (Chaelin Lee) of 2NE1. Strung with Stringjoy custom .09-gauge set.

2022 Orangewood Mason Live Acoustic-Electric "Natasha"
Fully stock. My main acoustic with Story By Matchstick. Got her by the mail in 2022 - a worthy dice roll. Picked her out because she was "econo" and had a cutaway as well as a piezo pickup for live gigs. Added stickers of Yeule to her, the one on the left I printed myself and cut out on a Cricut machine, the other is a promo sticker from their Glitch Princess album. Named after Nat Ćmiel (Yeule) (their birth first name is Natasha). Strung with Ernie Ball light gauge acoustic strings.

2013 Fender Vintage Blacktop Jazzmaster "Mika"
The only guitar to date that I deliberately had a modification done to: I had Jesse at Portanova's Music (RIP) add a Mastery Bridge to her -- an influence from both Nels Cline and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo, all of whom replaced their Jazzmaster stock bridges with Mastery bridges. The humbucker in the bridge position and the lack of the usual Jazzmaster switches were standard for this model. Killer axe, my main axe in Insomnia Station until Chaelin came into my life. Named after Mika Todd of MiniMoni, who was sincerely flattered by the tribute.
