Here's a space on the Indie Web where I can share my written and musical art and my other opinions in a space that isn't one of the easily used but widely impersonal social media sites we all know about.

I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania. When I'm not holding a day job, I'm either working on music or on a book project, or I'm absorbing the culture that inspires me to create.

Here's where I'll be sharing what I'm up to with my writing, my music, and my interests.

  • 04.12.26, 0318a EDT: The continued expansion of the Favorite Albums pages and new playlists are up and running.

  • 04.06.26, 1247a EDT: The new "Favorites" section is currently live with pages devoted to my favorite albums, bassists, and guitarists. These parts of my site will be expanding quite a bit.

Changelog

  • 04.06.26: The labor of love that is my new Favorites section is up and running, and it's only going to get bigger from here! You have been forewarned.
  • 04.01.26: No April Fool's joke here: The Playlist section is getting so large (so far) that I'll be devoting fresh pages to every month here.
  • 03.29.26: A different "Favorites" section is being worked on. I'll announce it officially in the updates section once I have more content in it up.
  • 03.23.26: More typing errors are being found and fixed (and a few other sentences are just being rewritten for clarity. I should officially note that this website gets updated or fixed in three different manners:
    • On my 2022 iMac using Phoenix Code
    • On my Linux-ified upcycled MacBook Air, also with Phoenix Code
    • On my 2021 iPad Pro with a Macally Bluetooth keyboard, going direct in the Neocities dashboard.
  • 03.22.26 (3rd update): I changed the colors to make everything a lot easier on the eyeballs. The reason for this: My own eyes are overdue for a checkup and a new set of glasses. Any other tweaks I do to this site tonight will be minor ones.
  • 03.22.26 (2nd update): A little jiggling of the layout. There may be other changes as well forthcoming.
  • 03.22.26: A couple of the pages (especially this index) had an older duplicate version of the page underneath -- the consequence of me trying to copy the HTML code direct from this site when I was using my upcucled Linux-ified MacBook Air. I've fixed those pages here on my iMac (where I have both a bigger screen to deal with and a mouse to handle for wider cutting/copying/pasting/deleting.
  • 03.21.26: Apparently, you can have the direct Neocities site autocomplete your HTML and CSS code in the edit window if you're doing things on the fly if you go into the settings there. Who knew? I'll probably still use Phoenix Code 99% of the time, but when I'm on my upcycled MacBook Air I can always go right into the site's edit window. There's your tip for the day.
  • 03.19.26: I may be tweaking this web page's design in the coming days, especially when I can get behind my iMac in my home office rather than sit in my living room with my Linux-ed MacBook Air. In the meantime, I've removed the older updates, added this changelog, and made a correction to the 03.17.25 Playlist entry -- apparntly the "new" Butthole Surfers album is actually the thirty-year-old original version of what became Weird Revolution before the band fell out with Capitol and changed label affiliations.
